How to Qualify
To be eligible for the Program you must meet these basic requirements:
• You must be a SCE customer paying the California public goods charge on
your utility bill.
• You must own or operate a commercial building that has at least 25,000
square feet of conditioned space, a direct digital control (DDC) system in
place, and central plant mechanical equipment in relatively good condition.
• Owner must be committed to implementing agreed upon measures identified
through the Program, including all measures with a one year or less
payback, within 12 months of project start date. A cap will be set at project
start for the maximum amount to be designated for implementing measures
that payback in one year or less.
• Owner has or will set up an ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (ESPM)
account and submit a billing data request through ESPM.
• There are no known barriers to implementing retrocommissioning improvements
or repairs, such as tenant agreements or sensitivities, environmental dangers
including asbestos, or manual control systems.
